About Sar

Sar Jones is a fine art and commercial photographer and retoucher from Howard Beach, Queens, NY. She graduated with a BFA in Photography from SUNY New Paltz and currently resides in New Paltz, NY. She is a recipient of the Luigi and Anita Traverso Photography Endowment Award for her senior thesis project, My Mother’s Daughter.

Sar has been featured in multiple gallery shows in New Paltz, such as I am Me and You at Unison Arts Center, Somatic Choreographies collaboration with students in Bogota, Colombia featured in the Fine Arts Rotunda at SUNY New Paltz, and the senior thesis exhibition at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art.
